As long as I don't have to travel in it, it's ok. I don't like having several inches of snow where it shuts everything down. We just had a very bad ice storm the later part of January, so compared to the ice, the snow would be a welcomed sight. I love watching the big flakes coming down in against the light of the street lights. I have to admit, I'm really read for Spring though. I'm not much of a winter type person.

I lived on the Minnesota/Canadian border all my life until I retired. I worked in 52 below with a CAT in the swamps for the DNR. I had to quit or I'm sure I would have died in the cold. No one believes the temps or the conditions we worked in up there. Snow piled in 12 foot drifts, temperatures down to fifty and sixty below zero.

I want it to go away. Living in Wisconsin, that won't ever happen, so we have decided to leave. As soon as I retire, we are moving south. The cold , wind, snow and ice have really gotten to us as we've aged. Don't like driving or walking in it. We used to ski, snowshoe, snowmobile, skate, toboggan and ice fish. I won't miss it one bit.

Snow is wonderful on Christmas day and maybe for a day or two after, IF it doesn't fall on the drive or sidewalk or streets.
Lived in northern Illinois my whole life and winter used to be fun....about 40 years ago.
I also don't mind seeing it in movies.

Even now, all these years later I get that excited feeling in my stomach as if my school could be cancelled. I still listen to the radio and smile when I hear that my Grandkids schools are closed. Snow days yay.
But it does suck to have to walk the dogs through a foot of snow. The little onedoesNOT like snow.

I live in Upper Michigan, where it snows for about half the year. When it snows those first few times in the autumn, I am happy.
If I don't have to drive over snowy roads, or in blowing snow, I like it. But if I have to go out in the storm for a doctor's appt, I am very uneasy, scared to drive very far in it.
If I can stay in the house, cup of coffee or hot chocolate in hand, watching the snow thru my window, I like it.
But, along come March, I am tired of it. Ready for spring. Those little crocuses (croci?) raising their colorful heads right thru the snow. Waiting for daffodils and tulips, buds on the trees.

I hate snow & that's why I left northeastern Ohio. I now live in S.C. & when I moved down here, my son said it had been a good six years since this area had seen snow. I've been down here two & a half years & this winter, it has snowed twice. What's up with that? It's been colder this winter than the two previous winters since I moved down here. The nice thing is that by noon, the sun comes out & the snow melts. Down here, they have no snowplows or road salt, so when more than an inch of snow is in the forecast, everything closes down, starting with the schools. These people should spend one winter up north. LOL

This time of year I am just sick to death of it! It is pretty when it's fresh but then it turns to an ugly grey and seems to last forever in some places. Then it packs down the grass and everything is a soggy mess. I am ready for spring but more snow is forecasted for the end of the week. Enjoy your snow while you can!

I'm a native Californian. Can't stand the stuff.
It looks beautiful on the mountaintops & I love drinking the mountain spring water from the Sierras.
Otherwise....NO WAY, JOSE...
I don't do cold & I'm too old to try!
I don't even like ice! LOL*

I think snow is great for making snocones, also known as Raspas, in July and August in Southwest Texas. I ain't got much use for snow, besides this. Frozen Margaritas ain't all that bad though.

My Dad summed it up nicely when he moved to Tennessee to retire, "As God is my witness, I'll never shovel snow again!"*

Snow is the great equalizer, it covers up the trash in bad neighbourhoods and makes them look as pretty as a picture. While that lasts most things appear to be equal. I like snow, I like looking at it, sometimes I like walking in it, it makes me sad for the days when my children were little - but most of all I really like to see it leave, and not come back for at least 8 months.

Snow is cool as long as it is no more than 5 inches tops. After that, not so good. Don't want to shovel out and I don't want the power to go out!!!!!!!!

Come fall (Oct.) I love to see the snow fly, but come spring (April) I love to see it go…

It's a needless freezing of rain.
Snow would be fine if it didn't rely on cold.
