Seniors.. have you been violated by Yahoo! Mail chat line and do not know what to do with the abuse?

Question

I chat with my friend everyday through Yahoo! Mail chat line. Lately the caption, which indicates my friend is in the process of typing over the other end and which appears just above the messaging box where i enter my massage, is getting really bizarre. It would usually say "X is typing...". But now i have got captions like "X is typing AND chewing gum...", "Bate your breath, X is typing...". At times when we have argument, the captions would say "The muse has struck back at X...", "X is whacking a wicked come back...".

I suspect someone working for Yahoo! Mail chat line is stalking our chat. I wrote in to report the abuse. But Yahoo! Mail came back with a nonchalant reply and gave me options like ignore it, block it (HOW???), etc etc and otherwise report it to the law enforcement agency if I feel threatened.

I am out of my wits of what to do with this abuse.

Ya know 13 of us seniors could get togetther and put Yahoo out of business. A Board of Directors of 12 with a CEO and start our own domain

Oh wow, I thought that was just normal for that to do that on the mail chat. Is it not? Now you are freaking me out.

It's not a violation and no laws have been broken, so calm down and forget calling the law. Your friend is sending those messages.

I find it very amusing, not a violation at all. I finally got so used to it I don't even read it anymore.

First, I do not see any abuse. What I see is a good example of political correctness. You are over reacting. Second, have you asked your friend? Cause it seems logical that it is the friend that has control over those little messages.
