Hello, I am a young adult and I am desperate [yes desperate] need of sound advice from an Experienced Lawyer. The Problem? I am sick and totally fed up with finding lawyers who are crooked and lazy. All the lawyers I have been to are unexperienced money hungry jerks. What happened to the knowledgable lawyers who did their job?? MY Question is WHERE can I go to look for SMART laywers who do their job with zest and knowlegdge [ like in the old days] ?? -- Do you guys know of a Directory /listing Or even an organization/website where I can find Old Reputable lawyers??

Well, I'm old, I'm experienced, I'm honest, I'm ethical and I'm an attorney. I also have no need to make more money since I have a job representing a county. In my state, if you wanted an old, experienced attorney you would call the state bar and ask for a referral from the senior attorneys' group. Yes, my state does have an organization for senior attorneys only. In general, the best way to get a good attorney is to ask all your friends for referrals. Good attorneys do not advertise. In fact, when I was a young attorney it was forbidden. Send me your question and I'll try to answer it or call your state bar office. Your problem is that you may be looking for site that doesn't exist since we old lawyers are still full of zeal and love advocacy, but we don't advertise. All my clients come from referrals.

i'm youthful, and continuously dream of turning right into a lawyer. Can your mothers and fathers sponsor me? loljk. it would be extraordinary to be lawyer through fact #a million you're responsive to regulation and you may probable make it your 2d nature. somebody who knows its flaws and predicament is a effective human-being in terms of social capacity, you may gain the main suitable issues with social capacity. you would be like an Airbender yet a Lawbender, have been given It? #2 Prioritize regulation, that is area of being human. An manmade nature to the society. #3 Do the two, so if first one fails then you definately'll nonetheless have a 2d possibility, then pursue returned 1st HA HA.

No snide remarks here kiddo - but first we need to know where you live. Each state has its own directory of lawyers, and a list of their various practices - i.e. family practice (divorce, custody, etc); criminal attorneys; litigation etc etc etc - so give us more information and perhaps we can help you. When you request information you should know your own needs first.

You might want to try look for some one from your church if you go there. Or maybe you could go to a web site and search for a Christian Law firm in your area. It's just a thought.

If you are in the US, believe it or not, some of the best lawyers are those who work for Legal Aid...cheap, fresh and up on their profession...they are looking to win and will represent you well.

Problem is many are backlogged with cases. In that case, referrals are the best avenue to follow...ask family and friends and/or coworkers who they have used that is fair, not trying to gouge you and knows their stuff!

Good luck!

I would suggest you ask your friends' parents if they could refer you to a good atty. Othewise, there are local Bar Associations you can contact. Look in the Yellow Pages. Good luck!!
