Toyota may be having its problems right now, but they will be just fine in the future. They're a reputable and long - standing company that produces a great product overall and will definitely rebound from the current set of woes that plague them.

Toyota has Obama's flunkies throwing mud at them trying to justify the auto bail-out. Meanwhile, the ten worst cars/trucks in America were all made by GM and Ford.

According to Toyota, they are actually doing quite well. I guess you can't beat free advertising.

No big profits and STILL lying to the public. When their own executives say it can it be wrong?

I bought a 2006 Rav4 S just in Feb. I was able to get a great price and it was never on a recall list. It is a great car, I love driving it.
I think their reputation will survive this mess.

We have never owned one, but they have a wonderful reputation and I am hopeful they can recover from their problems and continue with dependable cars in the future.

I saw Toyota of Greer (South Carolina) advertising their older trucks really cheap. They are safe. I have a 1999 Toyota Camry which is great and has been since the day I bought it. They will make a comeback because they have always made good cars that last. I think someone sabotaged them b/c they wanted people to buy American cars. That is not paranoia either. I honestly think someone would do something that low-down.
Yes, I remember the Firestone fiasco. We used to buy all of our tires there.

Up 40% in March.. The far left media is doing everything they can to destroy Toyota because government motors just can't compete. The unions have ruined the manufacturing in this country. If I were buying a new car today, Toyota would be the first place I shopped. I remember in the 80's seeing a union guy on TV saying he would not give any on benefits because he had gone on strike to get them. At the same time about half of the cars coming from them had to be pushed off the trucks. They wouldn't start from the factory. Any time you have the labor controlling the company, you will see it go to $hit very soon. Get rid of the union and I will consider your car.

They will fix all the problems and will return to the top in no time. Just like Firestone did. All the top manufacturers have had problems in the past and have overcome them. Everyone has had a recall at one time or another.

I'm not sure about how sales are going, but I haven't seen any Toyota dealers closing their doors, and traffic seems to be about the same. It looks like the stock dipped quite a bit last February, but has been gaining since then. Toyota has a pretty good reputation, and I think they will do whatever they can to redeem themselves.

I drive a Plymouth Neon myself.I do not know about the sales figures. But something to consider.
Prior to the government "bailing out" GM and Chrysler you did not read anything about quality control issues at Toyota. What happened? Just wondering.

They have some fantastic deals right now and I'd get one if I weren't so in love with my Honda.
