I've eaten in fast-food restaurants about 6 or 7 times during the past 40 years. The only time I eat in fast-food restaurants is if there are no other options available.

Went to In&Out burger in Las Vegas 4 years ago. The first time I was ever in there, was good.

2 years ago in Vegas my son took me for a Fat Burger, first time for that too, was also good.

We don't usually eat fast foods. they have Burger King, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Subway, and a few other chain stores here in Budapest where we live.

If we do grab a fast meal it is always at a Gyro shop. They have a spit of meat and cut up fresh veg's. Just drink a water with it, hardly ever drink sweet soda drinks.

When we visit the US we still mostly cook at home but do go to Taco Bell once in awhile, I remember their food to be good but usually am disappointed after ordering. Just doesn't taste the way I remember it did.

Here in Budapest you can get a meal at a lunch counter, say nice stuffed cabbage, 2 large ones with sauce and a piece of pork meat for 600 HU forints. A burger here costs about 1,200 and more for sides.

Why would anyone eat a processed burger when for half the price you can have a home cooked style meal.

There are many reasonable priced places here to have a fresh healthier meal so usually only tourists or young people who are meeting friends go to fast food burger places here.

The tourists are afraid to order in a local cafe because perhaps they can't read the menu and the kids go to fast food because they don't mind if they sit there all day long with one cup of coffee.

while I'm still able to get out and about in my own car I do visit the fast-food restaurants because I can take away a sandwich that would last me for 3 days that has all the veggies I need on it and that would cost me maybe $8 for the 3 days of meals. Or I'll go for a burger at MacDonalds (like for the past few weeks a Big Mac was only $2) so that's a really filling meal that's inexpensive and all I can eat for the day so it fits right into my budget. I can say though that other places are a little more pricy but if I eat on $2 or $3 a day prior for a few days then I can afford those chinese restaurants or go for a larger meal but then still I have lots to eat for several days.

I prefer the fast food places because making things at home you'd need several ingredients and herbs and such and that's way way over my budget.

I used to go there fairly frequently but not anymore. Maybe once a month or so I get the urge for McD's big mac and FFs, but now I get great fresh cooked foods from the delis in our markets. I cook nice meals at home and I don't fidget about getting some fast food. I've lived this long...why sweat the small stuff now?

I haven't hit Taco Bell in some time, so that may a stop sometime soon. I nearly cried when KFC left town, due to employees running all their business out, and took their beloved honey bbq wings with them. I was addicted to those.

When traveling I like to stop at McD and get a chicken sandwich and ice cream cone as my treat for the week. I don't always because it isn't healthy. I don't enjoy dining out alone so don't want to go to a restaurant and spend much more time and money. I own a lot of McD stock so the dividends more than pay for my food. I got a 25 gift card last year and still have 11.41 left so will go there about a year for $25. I like subway if wanted a real meal so maybe twice a year.

I like to cook but hate to clean up so I eat out most of the time. It is hard to find a place that offers anything healthy so I frequent those that have good salad bars...but they get expensive and then I eat dessert. You are wise to not drink soda of any kind and stay away from sugar. Some of the fast food places here seem to have meat that is full of fillers and I understand there is a bill coming up that will allow them to use bugs as fillers. That will end meat for me. Luckily I can afford a bit more than fast food and I have a restaurant that I eat at often. I do grab hamburgers and so wish that White Castle was here. Luckily I have found the frozen ones and often eat them with added pickles...as they should be. I have eaten at Wendy's and feel like they are a bit more careful with what they serve. They have gone out of business here and they are gone. Boo Hoo! Luckily this is Texas and we have Whataburger. Except for the one near me...serves terrible food and often cold and not what you ordered...you can count on Whataburger to be extremely clean, well managed, and your order will taste the same no matter where you are in Texas. There does seem to be a problem with most fast food places in that they have the credit card swiper inside and that leaves you open to identify theft so I have to drag myself inside to pay. Usually I am not dressed for that so that's when I don't eat out.

Not exactly fast food....There's a Mexican place a block away from me in the country. They have a drive-thru. I used to eat at a couple 3 times a month, but not anymore. Every time they would be out of something. Instead of having enough of everything and throwing away a little they underbuy. I got tired of calling ahead to see what they were out of! Nothing is ever consistent and new servers every week. I hear they have lost a lot of customers. Greed!

As far as fast food..none.

I'd buy from a fast food place if that's what I wanted to eat. To me, fast food is to "real food" like Chef Boyardee is to spaghetti. As long as I don't think of it as the real thing, I can tolerate it. However, I almost never have the urge to eat fast food other than a taco or burrito (or eggs rancheros or whatever) from one of the taquerias and I did have a "bowl" from Chipotles on Thursday night. And I do love pho and bahn mi. Not sure if that is fast food or not.

When I was working in the mornings, it was a lot easier to stop by Mickey D's drive-thru to get a sausage muffin than to make a breakfast for myself that early. But now that we're both retired, the only time we'll ever stop at any fast food joint is if we're on the road to one of his many doctor's visits. And I guess it depends on what you call fast food, because you couldn't pay me to drive into town to get some McDonalds or KFC, but I'll go for a pizza whenever we feel like we can afford it!

I never go to any of them. I don't like those types of fast food. I buy fish and chips very, very occasionally, and only from certain fish and chip shops which sell them wrapped to take home. I know which are good and which to leave alone. The circumstances in which I would buy them range from the beautiful smell luring me into the shop to my just not feeling like cooking that evening. I am fortunate in having one of the best ones in walking distance from my home.

I eat at Wendy's once or twice a month when I've been out running errands and they've taken me longer to do than I anticipated and want just a quick bite to eat. I usually get a child's hamburger and apple slices.

We go quite a bit. But it's for a biscuit and sausage or something light. Sometimes we get a burger and fries. To us it's all in moderation. Too much and it's not healthy.

Getting fast food requires a road trip.

Usually when we are on a long trip we stop at fast food restaurants. It's cheaper and faster.

Not often, but that isn't because I'm anti fast food. I just prefer other places that offer more choice.

About once or twice a year we get coupons in the mail for something free. That's the only time we go.

These days I just look for more healthier foods to look for and drink water or brewed tea instead of pop/soda. So mainly I will get a salad.

I only go to burger joints when the grands wants to go there.
